The room and bathroom were clean and of good size.
The air conditioning made an unbearable noise throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. I found only a few local channels on the TV that didn’t work properly. The breakfast was incredibly disappointing. there were no eggs or fresh fruit, and the dining area was too small to accommodate guests comfortably.

Perfect Spot for Beach Lovers
A fantastic base for our family beach getaway! Loved the close proximity to various beautiful beaches. Breakfast exceeded expectations with a solid selection. Don’t miss exploring local eateries nearby for authentic flavors. We faced some minor maintenance issues, but the quick response from staff impressed us!

i previously stayed in lagos and wot lagos montemar truly exceeded my expectations during this relaxing spa holiday. the room offered a magnificent view of the sea, with a delightful balcony perfect for enjoying drinks at sunset. breakfast included a fantastic selection of rolls, cheeses, and fresh juices that set the day off right.
wi-fi connection was very poor.

I booked a Double Room with Sea View but got a handicap room that felt super basic, like being in a cell. No amenities at all, not even a paper cup. The only place for my bags was the floor, and I had no closet or chair. Paid €50 extra for a view, but it was just buildings across the street. The small deck was useless with smokers next door. I had to leave after one night instead of the planned three. Huge disappointment for €300.

The location offered a quick stroll to beaches, just a 10-minute walk to the old town. My Double or Twin Room with Balcony provided a nice view, perfect for morning coffee. Breakfast featured a solid selection, notably fresh fruit and various breads that started each day on a good note. the breakfast menu lacked variety, missing staples like eggs and bacon. Wi-Fi in my room struggled at times. I had better luck in communal areas. Housekeeping overlooked my request for cleaning until the third day, which felt a bit let down. The staff, though pleasant and accommodating, could step up their response time on requests. Despite these hiccups, the experience leaned towards enjoyable, largely due to the location and the breakfast spread.

Just a solid selection for getting around the area in Lagos with all in all brilliant value for money. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay a lot more pleasant. Remember to enjoy the nearby cafes for a better breakfast option.

Diving into the local food scene was a real treat! I hit up Restaurante Triangulo just 0.2 km away for some fab Portuguese dishes that made my tastebuds dance. Plus, the folks at the snack bar were chill, making it easy to grab a quick bite. Staff were helpful and the room was clean, so no complaints there!
While the vibe was decent, the beds could use a little love, and the lack of a mini fridge was missed for keeping my drinks cold. Let’s not forget, the place is a tad vintage. some areas are crying out for a sprucing up.
